Hi Larry --
The shortcut in my startup folder that starts Winsdr is set to to start it
minimized. This is so other people that use the computer (my wife & son)
don't accidentally close Winsdr. If Winsdr starts this way it seems to
work fine and fills the record file with data but when I eventually
maximize it, there is no record shown on the screen. It begins to draw
traces from the time I maximize it but there is nothing there from before,
even through it might have been running for hours. If I then minimize it,
it will fill the screen worth with traces when I maximize it later on. Is
is possible to load the data from the record file when it is maximized the
first time, in order to draw a whole screen's worth of traces?
A similar thing happens with the gif file of the screen I have it set to
automatically generate. The file doesn't seem to be generated at all if
Winsdr is started minimized and never maximized.
I normally leave this machine on 24/7, but if it gets rebooted or the power
goes out, Winsdr will start minimized and stay that way until I maximize it
manually.
Should I change the shortcut to start it maximized? If that's the answer,
then I'll do it that way.
Thanks.
Karl
